Holiday Red Lippies

Saturday, December 24, 2016

The Holidays just would not be complete without a little HOLIDAY GLAM!  Here are a few of my favorite red lippies from this year.  I'm typically a matte lip girl, but I wanted to add a few others I stubbled across this year that I felt others may like as well.  The best part is, they vary in price so there is something in this list that works with everybody's pocket.
Happy Holidays Loves!

P.S. I know some of you are wondering, "Ebony... Girl, where have you been?!"  Don't worry I'll be updating you all soon enough on what I've been up to.  Best believe I have some big ideas coming your way for 2017!  Thanks for being patient and sticking with me loves.

Milani Cosmetics "22 Amore" ($9)
Matte Finish
Wal-Greens

* Side note... this is currently my FAVORITE red lippie!!!  It has a matte finish, no transfer and last a few hours.  I always get a ton of compliments on my lips when I wear this.

MICA Beauty Cosmetics "Red Glitter Powder" ($15)
MICA Beauty Kiosk or Website

Here is the beautiful glitter I have been wearing on my lips for the past 3 holidays.  Yes, it has lasted me 3 years and I still have a ton of it left.  I apply a red matte lipstain as my base then use a brush, dip it in water then in the glitter and apply all over my lip.  All you need is water with this glitter and it will stick.  I love this product, another one of my favorites for the holidays!

Sephora Lipstain "Always Red" ($14)
Matte Finish
Sephora

Kat Von D Liquid Lip "Outlaw" ($21)
Matte Finish
Sephora

Dior Rouge Lipstick "999" ($35)
Suede Cream Finish
Sephora

Milani Cosmetics "06 Mattely In Love" ($9)
Metallic Finish
Milani Cosmetics Website

This is one of the BEST metallic lips I have worn in my opinion.  It has no transfer and gives moisture to the lips.  The best part is that even though it's metallic it doesn't flake or chip. I love it!

NYX Liquid Suede "Cherry Skies" ($7)
Suede Finish
Ulta

Lancome Lipstick "132 Caprice" ($32)
Cream Finish
Sephora

Wet N' Wild  Liquid Lip "Raisin' The Roof" ($2)

Tuesday, July 19, 2016

Hey everyone, I wanted to make a quick post showing how easy it is to make a pair of Aquazurra Pom Pom heels all on your own.  I fell in love with these heels as soon as I saw them.  They're a fun pair of heels for the summer that can be dressed up or down.   These heels retail for up to $630 on some sites, but I'm going to show you how to make your own for under $40!

GIRL TALK

Wednesday, May 11, 2016

Through out this journey I want to introduce some of my family and friends because like I always say, they keep me inspired.  In this video I introduce two of my close girlfriends, Taylor and Bri.  We sat down and do what we do best... have GIRL TALK.
In this video we discuss our personal favorite trends while also shinning light on a few topics.

The video was made with no ill intentions, just positive energy and laughter.  I personally love when women collaborate with one another to make magic.  We had such a great time filming the video and I can't wait to continue to introduce more of my family and friends to my blog and channel.

Be sure to check these ladies out below and follow them on their social networks.  You will not be disappointed!

TAYLOR RANDLE (@EclecticEdge)

Taylor was the first friend I made when I first transferred to Stephens College four years ago.  We were both Fashion Majors and instantly clicked.  She became my roommate during my senior year.  You know that saying, "Don't live with one of your friends because you will hate each other by the time you move out"?  Well... we were the exact opposite, living together actually made us closer.

Anyone who meets Taylor can agree, that she is a true character and extremely unique.  I can honestly say that I have never met anyone like her.  Her eye for fashion is out of this world.  Taylor can dress her butt off, and she does it EFFORTLESSLY.

Taylor has taught me that it's okay to let loose and simply enjoy life.  Live in the moment and don't always be so uptight.  Thank you Taylor for always being you and for being a loyal friend.  I know you will do great things, and I cant wait to watch it all unfold.  Love You!

BRIANNA ARPS  (@JustCallMe_Arps)

I met Bri in December, 2015 while working at Sephora.  She is the founder of The MouthingOff Blog and recently launched a mobile app that can be downloaded in the Apple App store.  Bri is truly a #GIRLBOSS and in a short period of time she has made such a huge impact on my life.

Bri has such a big heart and does everything in her power to uplift those around her, especially other women.  Her drive and determination is inspiring.  I love our girls nights where we talk about goals, ideas, and give each other words of encouragement.  God placed Bri in my life at just the right time.

What I have learned from Bri is to not be so hard myself.  She has taught me that it's okay to take your time when branding yourself, don't rush the process.  One night she reminded me that...

"Life isn't a race of who is going to make it first.  Life is a marathon to see who is going to last".

Trust me boo, we are both going to last.  God already has it written.  Thank you Bri!

Met Gala 2016

Monday, May 2, 2016

I look forward to the Met Gala every year!  You don't have to be a fashion guru to enjoy viewing the unique outfits these celebrities entertain us with each year.  The Met Gala is the place where celebrities and their stylists are free to truly take risks without hesitation.  The theme this year was "Fashion in an Age of Technology".  As always not everyone followed the theme; however these stars made sure to make a statement like always.  Below are a few of my personal favorites... once again I repeat, MY PERSONAL favorites.

BEST DRESSED:

There were so many looks this year that I absolutely LOVED.  It was hard for me to pick just one best dressed so I cheated and picked two.  One look fit the theme PERFECTLY and the other was just simply flawless from head to toe.
